Trump's Health Care: Right to Know, Right to Try, and More

Trump is motivating and supporting the efforts of officials in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to make prices publicly available online so that patients 'will be armed with accurate information' and 'can shop around for healthcare services and make the decision that is best for them.'

All citizens should have the right to health care that works for their needs. Citizens should not be force into any particular health care plan or doctor. They should have the freedom to choose the plan and doctor they want and/or best suits their needs.

Making health care universally available for all American citizens is about the freedom to choose your health care coverage and the right to know the price before purchasing it.

I support Trump's efforts and direction in fixing the problems that currently exist in the Health Care industry, including but not limited to:

1. Our 'Right to Know' the price of a service before deciding upon it;

2. The 'Right to Try' unapproved, experimental drugs to terminally ill patients;

3. The rejection to force American Citizens to pay a penalty for not joining a health care plan;

4. The rejection to force all Americans into a Universal plan they don't want to join;

5. Trump's great stride in improving health care for our veterans;

6. Generic drug pricing instead of Big Pharma Drug price gouging.

President Trump is working hard and fixing the problems within the health care industry. I applaud his achievements in this area. It would be my intention to work, in the congress, to enact bills that compliment Trump's vision for Health Care Reform because his efforts are American citizen friendly and centric. We need health care that puts the needs of American citizens first!
